The Dimensional Metrology Certification Project is a National Science Foundation (NSF), Advanced Technologies in Education (ATE) Grant Awarded to Navajo Technical University to increase metrology education on the Navajo Nation and the US. 

NTU used this funding to increase the capacity in the area of dimensional metrology including protable coordinate measurement machines (PCMM), a Faroarm with laser scanning attachment and Faro Laser Tracker.
